Hello Everyone,
I recently filed an RTI request regarding refund information. However, my application was disposed of by the Assessing Officer (AO), who mentioned that the information is available with CPC Bangalore, without taking affort to transferring it to CPC.
I now plan to refile my RTI, but I'm confused about what to choose under the "Select Ministry/Department/Apex body" section on RTIOnline Website. Since the information is with CPC Bangalore (Income Tax), I want to make sure it goes to the correct department this time to avoid further delays.
Could anyone please guide me on which Ministry/Department/Apex body I should select while filing the RTI? Any insights from those who've successfully filed similar RTIs would be much appreciated!
