Help needed regarding saving of an exemption in ca final

Friends,

Please help with this. I am a final student right now. I have registered in my articleship on 12/09/2013 but during the tenure of my articleship i have taken a leave for 1 year for coaching and health issues. My first attempt to CA Final was in May 2016 and on its application my principal has signed as i will b completing 21/2 years of articleship by april 2016 and i got exemption in sfm in may and i lost remaining subjects. So again i wanted to give a try in nov 2016 but now also my principal was telling that he will sign on the application in the same column i.e., "i will be completing 21/2 years of training by october 2016." will there be any problem regarding my exemption in sfm? please help me, i am very much stressed regarding this topic. I tried calling ICAI office but no response from them as the phone calls were not been answered.

Please help me.

Exemption secured once in an attempt is valid for next 3 attempts( whether you appear or not). This is not going to be affected in any way. So, don't worry.

Dear Monika,

How can in both the attempt u can mention completed 2.5 years ??

Tell your employer to mentioned that articleship has been completed.

frankly speaking its not a issue but try to convence your employer
