hi friends..
i passed cape2 examination in nov 2007 and got registered in final new course..
i got registered for articleship w.e.f. 1.02.08 ..
i want to know that when my final attempt will get due..?

regarding this issue,plz, tell me whether any notification has been issued that the candidate passing his/her pe2 in nov 07 can appear in final pending 1 yr of articleship

hi its not 1yr pending of articleship.For new final course first attempt due on last 6 month pending on articleship.

Its 6 months pending articleship.. that is, nov 2010 will be ur first attempt

no.. those passed out in nov 07 will be covered under new final course and so eligible for exam only when 6 months articleship is pending

As u passed in Nov 07 u have to register in new course. As per new course u can appear in final exam after completion of 2.5 yrs of yor articleship.(current) But u may get ur final attempt after cmpleting 2 yrs of articleship(but this is proposed only not final by ICAI)

hey ur attempt will definitely be 6 months pending ur articleship since you are registered under the new final course. no doubts abt dis. means ur attempt would be on nov,10. if u want further clarification u may go to the Institute's site and refer the transition scheme where it has been clearly stated that final attempt under the New Final Course would be due on 6 months pending ur articleship.
