Just read one book ie Dr. Urvish shah book on auditing ...its a wonderful book....answers are given in a simplified manner and write answers same way as it is given in the book.

In case of Direct Tax, try to find out a book which is concise as well as covering entire syllabus. I felt that while exam time, it is very difficult to study from big and bulky books, specilaly the night before the exams
