I have passed Group I of PCE held in June,09 and will be appearing for group II in November,09. Suppose I clear Group II this november. Then will I be eligible to appear for CA Final Exam in May,10? My articleship gets completed in April,10. And thus the condition for appearing for CA Final Exam in May,10 gets satisfied.
But one of my friend told me that there must be difference of at least 9 months between PCC and Final.
Is it so?
As per ICAI rules "A candidate shall be admitted to the Final Examination, if he has passed the PCE and has completed the practical training on or before the last day of the month preceding the month in which the examination is held."
There is no such rule for 9 months gap between pcc & final.
