I cannot speak

I’m dumb and mute;

My emotions excite me

          But remains ever unexpressed;

My thought that comes to the tongue’s tip

          Remain ever unspoken;

My feelings seek freedom

          But go under imprisonment;

My sweet dreams of the days to come

          Turn only to nightmares;

My tears are about to trickle down the cheeks

          But remain ever unshed.

My heart – soft and serene – never fails to

          Endure the worldly tortures … … …

Oh, anxiety;

Oh, troubles;

Oh, humiliation;

Oh, cruel moments;

          Why after me???

I wonder – to what extent and till when…???!!!
