HAPPINESS

Happiness is like a butterfly. When you run after it, it flies away from youand if you sit quietly it alights upon you.

Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony. That is happiness: to be dissolved into something complete and great.

He who depends on himself will attain the greatest happiness.

Happiness is a virtue, not its reward.

The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.

Happiness is: Looking in a mirror and liking what you see.

Happiness is not a possession to be prized, it is a quality of thought, a state of mind.

Happiness is not an ideal of reason, but of imagination.

Happiness belongs to the self-sufficient.

Happiness comes when your work and words are of benefit to yourself and others.

Sanity and happiness are an impossible combination.

Happiness is a Swedish sunset - it is there for all, but most of us look the other way and lose it.

Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on.
