There is no need to worry.

For name change u/s 21 ROC approval is required for which you have to file an application in form 1B to the ROC (Powers delegated to the ROC by Central Government) for approval of change of name of the company along with requisite fee. Rest of the procedure is same.

For rectification of name u/s 22 RD approval is required for which you have to file an application in form 24A to the RD (to whom power is delegated under section 22) for approval of change of name of the company along with requisite fee. Rest of the procedure is same.

To brief you further changes noticed by you recently are actually the old ones…I mean powers are delegated to ROC/RD way back around in 2009 or so.
