I think considering the market condition this time institute not provide grace marks.That's why expected passing percentage is around

Both Group:10-13%

1st Group:18-22%

2nd Group:14-18%

CA Vikash, If ICAI does not give Grace Marks / Does not do +ve Moderation of Results then be sure No attempt will show a Result of more than 2 - 3 % ever. Go back to the period appx 15 Yrs back, & you will see that Results in Those days was Max 5 - 6%, & am sure everyone must have heard about this fact of Great Old days, when such results were given by ICAI, Hence Gracing will never stop. by ICAI, & this time also there is a Gracing of Appx 6 - 8 Marks Per Subject, & in all Per group 24 - 30 Marks.

I agree with your point of view regarding grace marksbut it is not that much as suggested by u  i am also  clarify u this icai result was never 4-5% in past also its only mith for u.

Old ca calculate result passing percentage as follow.

Suppose cpt result=38%

                 IPCC=20%

                  final=18%

So ca passing percentage=38*0.20*0.18=1.37%
