Quick Summary
If you've mistakenly filed a nil GSTR 3B return when you actually had outward and inward supplies, there's no direct revision option in GST. Instead, you must disclose the correct details in your next month's GSTR 3B. To avoid interest, it's advisable to pay the outstanding liability immediately using Form DRC-03 with applicable interest. You should also inform the department of the error by submitting a letter, as interest is typically calculated on the net tax liability until the subsequent return is filed.

The same has to be disclosed in next month GSTR-3B and liability need to be discharged along with interest.

However to avoid interest pay the liability through DRC-03 today with applicable interest till date and explain the same to department by submitting a letter.

Interest may be applicable till the next return is filed.

In GST there is no concept of revision of returns.

As per Section 37 & 39 R/w Circular 26 any error or omission in return can rectify in subsequent Return.

as per Rule 88B interest is applicable @ 18% on net tax liability.
