gstr 3b offset broblem

july bal itc in igst rs. 11077 August itc igst rs. 59343 cgst rs. 62063 sgst rs. 62063 . sales cgst rs. 82323 sgst rs 82323 balance pay cgst rs. 26854 sgst rs. 26854 with penalty 800 each head with ints. but problem in gst r 3b show the cash ledger balance is insaficiant. please help how clear errors

you first create challen and must pay cash only by epay or any other way. you will not be able to set off from ITC credit balance...

for penalty only. but you can set off others by ITC balance....

Offset problem only comes when you have liability more and balance less in particular head.

@ Sramteke.,
As per your above said values you don't want pay any Tax liabilities except late fee...
Then Why you pay excess payment...

I think you are wrongly off set your ITC to your liabilities. So, only you got error message...
Go to set off correct way then your problem ll be resolve...

Your total ITC value Rs. 194,546 and Your total liabilities Rs. 164,646 = Balance ITC Rs. 29,900 (IGST)....

check late fee to be paid in fee column only if you have paid as taxes it will not get offset

You fill the columns of "Paid through ITC" following way...

Central Tax (Row) to Central Tax (Column) - Rs. 62063 &
Central Tax (R) to Integrated Tax (C) - Rs. 2026.... CGST Liability is 0....

State Tax (R) to State Tax (C) - Rs. 62063 &
State Tax (R) to Integrated Tax (C) - Rs. 20260.... SGST liability is 0.....

Also you pay the late fee (Today) Rs 2000 ( CGST 1000 + SGST 1000)....
You ll follow and fill the details. You can get exact solution....
