IS THERE ANYONE HAVING AN SAVE/ACTION ON COUNTER PARTY INVOICE SUBMIT ARE NOT ALLOWED FOR CURRENT DATE ERROR WHILE FILING GSTR 1 FOR THE PERIOD OF AUGUST 2017??

Even I faced with same problem, not able to submit GSTR1
for august month return dates are yet to be notified.so wait for confirmation of date until you not able file

when I am trying File nill return for the month of August I get this message " Error! GSTR-1 Save/Action on Counterparty Invoices/Submit are not allowed for current date"

Please understand and Don't be try to file GSTR 1 2 and 3 returns for August month...
Bcoz, August month GSTR 1 2 and 3 returns date not finalise...

GSTR-1 date is not yet notified. Wait for same......
don't hurry with returns. Let Gstr3 of July gets complete for all then you can file for August. Till date Early ones have been loser in gat regime.
I also facing the same issue. But some of our suppliers filed GSTR 1 for August. I am able to view their datas in GSTR 2A
once a suppliers uploads his invoice in gstr1 it is available for view to buyer in 2A. But till the supplier does not submit gstr1 it is not freezed. So there may be cases earlier where you are able to upload invoice but not submit return. Those invoices are available for view.
Gstr1 for August is not working as of now so avoid wasting time in filing. when time comes you will get ample time do so.
Wait for some time..... Same will be started soon...
Everybody is having the same problem. On the Dashboard, it's giving the last date of submission as 5/10, still not accepting

It's not updated in our dashboard.

You ll see in GST portal Home page window's Right side bottom corner...
