Actually govt can't do it. Govt is going to foolish in GST.
Bcoz, System is not ready. Same time law and order passed...

In my view...
First of GST pass in some states as experiment base. Then get successful after going mandatory to all other States....

i m facing problam submit of GSTR-1,Error! GSTR-1 Save/Action on Counterparty Invoices/Submit are not allowed for current date

Last date for GSTR 1 of August is 5 oct 2017, and i m facing this problem too

August month GSTR returns date not yet to be finalized. The dashboard is not update. So, Wait on further notifications.

Also you ll see the date updates in GSt portal home page...

Yes it will be finalized soon. Heard that there is a GST council meeting on 6th OCt. Hope govt will bring some good news for business in this meeting as govt is also under pressure due to implementation failure of GST.
