Quick Summary
An accountant with 8 years of experience, holding a BCA degree, is seeking clarification on eligibility for the GST Practitioner (GSTP) exam. While the standard qualification requires a commerce, law, or business degree, it's confirmed that a BCA is not sufficient on its own. The advice given is to pursue a B.Com degree, even through distance learning, to meet the educational requirements for GSTP registration.

Educational qualification - must be a graduate or postgraduate or must possess an equivalent degree in commerce, law, banking, business administration, business management.
