DEAR SIR
We are a mfg co of apparels and sent a consignment exceeding Rs.250000/- while making payment to us they deducted 2% igst on the value of goods.
So I want to know if we sale of purchase above RS,250000/- does gst tds applies u/s CGST 51
and need to file gstr-7 monthly.
plz clear the matter what is CGST-51 RULE
REGARDS
Only following person are required to deduct GST tds if contract value is more than 2.5 lakhs:
1) state or Central govt department
2) local authority
3) govt agencies
4) board or corporation
5) Society
6) PSU
GST TDS apllicable on both Goods or services.
