our company purchase steel from Mumbai based company they put invoice like I GST 9 percentage and sgst 9 percentage, they said this will be followed for future days as per GST law...
if there is any law like this...

Tiruppur district is in Tamil Nadu ,then How it is Intra -state ?.
It's not intra state it's inter state purchase...
Mumbai based means company incorporated in mumbai and their branch maybe situated in tirpur district is in tamil nadu. then they will charge 9% cgst & sgst both. And you are receiving supply directly mumbai then only Igst 18% will be charge in invoice by them.. If any confusion please raise query..
