Quick Summary
Providing an 'atta chakki' service is generally considered taxable under GST. If your annual turnover exceeds £20 lakh, you'll need to register for GST and pay tax on your earnings. Importantly, you can claim back the GST paid on the purchase of your atta chakki machine, which can then be used to offset your GST liability.

No it's not exempted

The services are taxable. If his aggregate turnover exceeds Rs.20lacs, then he is required to obtain GST registration and pay GST on its income from ata chakki. The credit of machine availed by him could be claimed and used for paying outward GST liability.
