Dear Experts.. Dealer has not filed GST monthly form for 6 months. Notice came in Sec 39. He has since filed GST monthly returns. There is currently no monthly form pending. Now how to respond to this notice?
As stated in the notice:-
Observation
Failure to furnish returns for a continuous period of six months.
you are hereby directed to furnish a reply to the notice within thirty days from the date of service of this notice.
You are hereby directed to appear before the undersigned on 01.01.2022 at 11.00.
If you fail to furnish a reply within the stipulated date of fail to appear for personal hearing on the appointed date and time, the case will be decided ex parte on the basis of available records and on merits.

Submit all the copies of return filed that is of last six months on the required date along with your response on delay filing.
