Hi,

So, I have been searching for SAC for Ecommerce company acting as an agglomerator for online tradings of goods. However, I could not locate any specific code for such a service. Could anyone suggest the GST SAC (code) for such a service descripttttion ( providing portal for online selling of goods).

As per my understanding such an Ecommerce operator is only acting as a mediator to collect tax from supplier and remit to the Government; as the ultimate assessee would be supplier. Hence, no specific code for one such agglomeration service.

Please correct me, if I am going wrong with reasoning. Also, I assume SAC code would be mandatory for registration.

E-Commerce is way of business. It is not have any special codes for HSN and SAC.

What are the items you deal then you can use that code for your Registration

Thanks for the response. This company only provides a platform to suppliers/ retailers to sell their products to ultimate customers( for instance, service provided by Flipkart). That being said, it is an agglomeration service. It could have come under Business Auxilary Services; however, I do not find any specific code or even related code for the service provided by the company.

Which code should I prefer while GST registration?
