As per notification 2 /2017 dated 28 / 6/2017 , chicken is under exempt supply , so as per section 23(a) of the CGST act 2017 ,for exempt supply gst registration not necessary. you have confirm with others also .

Nahi Lena padega kyunki agar sirf exempted goods me deal karte hai to GST registration lena compulsory nahi hai.
