Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies which GST return period (Q1 or Q2) to file based on your GST certificate's date of liability and issue date. It also explains how to determine the correct period depending on whether you applied for GST voluntarily or mandatorily. Check your GST portal for specific filing status indicators.

You apply GST number on voluntary basis or compulsory (i.e other than voluntary basis) basis..?

If Voluntary basis...than From Q2
If Mandatory basis..than From Q1

Check your log in , if it showing Return filing status for June, THEN you have to file for the same.
