I had applied for the GST on 29th June. On 6th July I received notice for clarification on two issues-
1.Place of Business
2.Noterized consent letter.
On 8th July I submitted both the clarification. But on 17th July my application was rejected stating that place of business and place of residence can't be same.
Why can't I run my business from my home? Is there any rule that we can't do the business from the home?

I am applying the GST on my home address, which is own by my mother. I have provided consent letter which has the same address as in Electricity bill and Gas bill. And I have provided both this documents in my place of business proof.
If you are asking about my apartment number then it is present. Like G/228 - G is my building and 228 is my flat number.
