GST rejection issue

I had applied for the GST on 29th June. On 6th July I received notice for clarification on two issues-

1.Place of Business

2.Noterized consent letter.

On 8th July I submitted both the clarification. But on 17th July my application was rejected stating that place of business and place of residence can't be same.

Why can't I run my business from my home? Is there any rule that we can't do the business from the home?

1.Your residential address and principal place of business is same. How is it feasible to run business from residential place? Kindly explain.

Therefore, your application is rejected in accordance with the provisions of the Act.

You must confirm.

I think -You hiring a property from the Relatives, So department ask the consent letter.

And, you verify, the place of business mentioned in the application must match with the document, you attached.

Such as Rent Deed, Consent Letter, Electricity Bill , Building Tax Receipt etc.

I am applying the GST on my home address, which is own by my mother. I have provided consent letter which has the same address as in Electricity bill and Gas bill. And I have provided both this documents in my place of business proof.
