Gst registration urgent help

Registration 1859 views 13 replies

I have filed application for registration of GST I received notice to upload proof of ownership of property viz electricity bill/property tax receipt or M.C. Khata copy etc. But the premises is Rented, so I uploaded the copy of Rent Deed, But the officer passed an order for rejection of application. Now how I can re-open the application or file appeal against the same, as the document (Rent deed) is sufficient. Kindly provide the solution.

What should I do now?

I want registration as soon as possible.

Thank you

If it is rejected you have to prepare and file another GSTR 1
and you have to upload rental agreement and power bill also
name should be same power bill and rental agreement
you are supposed to a fresh application
you are supposed to file a fresh application
yes, if the existing TRN is rejected..

Sir,

As per my understanding of law, You should has to get No objection certificate from Tenor, and upload the same.

Then it will be treated as valid proof of your place of business.

Thanks

Apply for a new application and provide No Objection Certificate (NOC) given by the landlord and also if possible the Certificate of "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN".
Electricity bill is not a proof of ownership for a rented property as it is in the name of the landlord. So upload the Rent Deed or the NOC or the Certificate of 'To Whom it May Concern' from the landlord , as proof of ownership.

You will need to reapply for registration and provide following addtional documents.

1. Electricity bill (which would be in the name of owner of the premises)

2. No objection certificate from owner on Stamp Paper. (Rs.100 Stamp paper would be more than enough.)

It is unnecessarily waste of time applying new application again, Mr. Yogesh you just proceed with the same application and you should upload rent agreement along with the electricity bill (merge both the documents) for proof and one main condition is that the owner name should match both in rent agreement and electricity bill. If you do the same, then your application will be approved
I have faced the same problem when I had applied for the GST registration. I have uploaded Rend Deed, NOC from the Landowner, Registration Certificate for Shops & Establishment Act, Aaadhar Card, Pan Card, Cancelled Cheque, and a Photograh. But, the officer raised an objection and asked for the clarification. Officer raised an objection that I have to provide a ownership proof of the the original landowner who has rented/leased his place to me. And then I filed the clarification by attaching the Property Registery as a ownership proof of the original owner. But, my application got rejected and the officer mentioned that according to the gst law they require Municipal Khata number, electricity bill or a Property Tax receipt as ownership proof. According to me there is a nexus going on between tax officers and the brokers who used to apply for gst for you, because when I applied for GST thorough a broker (after paying him money) it got accepted within few weeks and this time I have only given Rent deed and my personal ID proofs (no Landowner ownership proof and no NOC)
Hi my GST registration is in conformation to principle of place.. My landlord name and electricity card names where different still they didnt chng the name of electricity card.. Is any other way to apeal further
