Most of my clients are located in Maharashtra and are dealers in food grains which falls under exempted category.
All of them are importers i.e. purchasers from other states.
So, if I do not register those clients under GST, then is there/may be any problem in purchasing of goods from other states as such ?

No problem shall arise if registration is not taken for the clients dealing in exempted goods.
Even if the client purchases these goods from other states then also registration is not required.
