Gst Registration for different business

I have 3 types of business
a. construction business
b. Whole seller of Agarbati product
c. restaurant business

Do I need to take different GST registration for all business or can I take one GST No. for all

Please Guide me in this regard.

You have to take seperate GST registration for each business

No it's not mandatory , you can continue all the business under same GSTN .

Note : Suggested to keep & maintain proper book of account must go for different GSTN for all the business

As per gst act you can take one gstin for vertical type of business but you need to make sure that your books of accounts and gst compliances should be correct .
in Practically we seen lot of taxpayer find difficulty to maintain books

I suggest you should take seprate registration

Normally A person can obtain only Single GST Registration in a state or union territory under this act. Provided that a person carrying on multiple business verticals in a state or Union territory may be granted a separate GST registration for each such business vertical subject to such conditions – As per Sec 25(2).

You can register two or more businesses under one GSTIN in the Same State but CAN NOT use Two Trade names under one GSTIN. The adding of new Business can be done by Amendment of Registration of Non-Core Fields by Adding new places of business and HSN Code of the new Business.
