Dear Experts

I have GST Registration. Due to a few reasons, I can't start my business so GST Registration now useless for me. I am filling a NIL return every month. Now my question is this 1) How to cancel my GST Reg? I want to know process 2) which document I need to cancel GST Reg? 3) Any time limit to cancel/surrender GST Reg from date of registration?

file application for cancellations request at common portal, you can find option of cancellation on right hand side of dashboard after login

after successfully filed the cancellation application you should also file gstr 10 (final return)

File a request for cancellation of gst registration on gst portal.

section 29 is applicable..
you can surrender your gstin on sue moto...
further you need to file your anual return also...
it is compulsory to file such return..
even though you have made nill supplies
