can i have 2 gst numbers under same pan in same state.
one for trading of goods and one for contractual service?

Yes, you can have, if principal places of businesses are different.

In same state then Single registration is enough for all business...

In case Taxpayer's want another GSTIN then the business as vertical business activities...
