hie...

i want to register under GST as a Caterer ( Catering Service ).

1] Can i opt for composition scheme . If yes then what will be rate applicable

2] After selecting composition scheme below its asking for '' Reason to obtain registration'' so here can i accept voluntary because its turnover is below 1.5cr

3] I had a service tax registration from 2010 so in commencement of business which date to be selected 11-Nov-2010 or the date of making registration .

SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR COMPOSITION SCHEME .

1) service provider except restaurant business are not allowed to take up composition scheme of taxation under gst
2) registration is to be obtained when the turnover crosses a specified limit which is fixed 40 lakh from April 1 2019, 1.5 crore is just a limit of composition scheme and not threshold of registration.

My catering turnover is 10lac so can i take GST registration under composition scheme .

Also i had a service tax registration from 2010 so in commencement of business what date shld be used (2010 or date of taking registration that is 2019).
