Gst registration

Actualy I think its not a registration its only a enrollment in other words provisional registration.

Hi...Its Provisional/enrollment Regitration and GST Bill is Process mode. So be Cool..

Well.. in that case how can it be in a bounded duration ?

I mean if its a provisional as per the websites then why it has to be compulsorily done within the last dates given ?

This is not any any registration or prov. registration this is just the migration process of existing registration from other statutory (like VAT, service tax, excise) etc.

GSTN has started migrating 65 Lakhs VAT payers, 20 lakhs Service Tax payers and about 3 lakhs Central Excise Tax Payers to new GST system. About 85 to 90 lakhs existing tax payers are migrated with new GST tax system. A provisional identification number is being generated soon for all those tax payers, as per GSTN authorities.

GST authorities encourage all tax payers of GST in India to complete the enrolment during the specified dates.  However, the window will be open till 31/01/2017 for those who miss the chance. 

GST is now a reality and it is far more complex and stringent when it comes to compliance. Enrollment is only a procedural aspect; however, the real game will begin from April 1, 2017

GST will not start immediate basis w.e.f 1st april,2017. it may be start wef sep,17 on wards. its a recent announcement probably before last 2-3 days
