GST REFUND ON ACCOUNT OF MERGER

Can we claim Refund of Unutilized balance in Cash Ledger under GST Act due to merger of our company with the parent company? we have already transferred ITC to the parent company from our credit ledger by filing ITC-02 online but we are unable to transfer Cash as there is no such mechanism right now on the GST system.Please offer your comments.thanks
