Quick Summary
There's been news circulating about a potential reduction in GST rates for the pharmaceutical sector, from 12% to 5%. While some specific items like nicotine gum remain at 18%, many essential medicines, vaccines, and diagnostic kits are already taxed at 5%. Other pharmaceutical products and formulations are currently at 12%. It appears the news of a blanket reduction to 5% is not accurate, as most items are either already at 5% or remain at 12%.

The GST rates with HSN codes on various pharmaceutical products is given under Chapter 30.

No.... there is no such Notification in regard to reduce of rate in pharmaceutical
Agree with Pankaj Ji
Already I have mentioned the rates applicable on Pharma sector
Person is not asking for rates , he just want to confirm whether news is true or not.
But by analysing the rates he will be able to understand whether the pharma products he is willing to ask whether rate has been changed or not
