Sir,

We are manufacturing 1.Wooden Choukath,Doors and windows. 2.Wooden Desk bench 3.Dual desk made out of MS square tube frame and Ply or wooden top 4. Wooden study table chairs 5. Furnitures made out of Plywood,Mica. 6.Furnitures made out of Steel.

Kindly advise the rate of GST on the above items.

The final goods produced by the manufacturer of wooden furniture will be taxed at the rate of 12% under GST instead of the current average VAT rate of 12.5%.
whereas furniture made of steel is charged at 18% , Different rates have been provided for different kind of articles made of iron or steel.
