Could anyone guide what is the rate applicable for labour charges paid under works contract. Is it 18% or 12%.

no , it is 18 % , 12 % which is 2/3 of 18 is for sale of apartments, bcz 1/3 is considered as sale of land on which no gst is applicable

Actually my query is for labour charges who is engaged in labour work of road and bridges construction and not for building.
I think it is 18%. Please correct me if I am wrong.

correct it is 18 % , i was just trying to xplain when 12 % comes to picture in works contract
