I want to know the GST rate and HSN code for N95 face masks.

Someone kindly reply required this..

1. hsn9020, tax rate 12% - If it had any mechanical parts or replaceable filters

2. The classification if it doesn't have any mechanical/replaceable part is not given. hence please see in chapter 63. I think it maybe reasonable to use 630790 (residual category), tax rate 5%

1. For cotton Face Masks, HSN Code will be 5208 to 5212, and GST Rate will be 5%

2. For Non-Cotton Masks, HSN Code will be 9020, and GST Rate will be 12%
