Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the Goods and Services Tax (GST) implications when trading aluminium scrap. It confirms that if you purchase scrap from an unregistered dealer (URD), the reverse charge mechanism (RCM) is not applicable. You will collect GST at 18% when selling the scrap and pay it to the government. Purchases from URDs do not need to be declared in your GSTR-3B, but your sales must be.
If you have purchased from unregistered person there would not be any GSt under RCm and there is no need to show same in GSTR-3b relating to purchase . however relating to sales to be disclosed in 3B
