I am a trader(proprietorship), registered under GST as a normal tax payer having t/o > Rs.75L.
Also, I get rental income of Rs.2.4L.
Do I need to charge GST on rent or not as rent is not more than Rs.20L?

You are registered under GST... Rent from Commercial property....?!
After registration your rental income is under GST. You must collect GST from the Rental income... Rate @ 18%
