Gst on postal charges charged by bank

If a Bank debited postal charges to issue notice to one of his customer, who didnt have any balance in his savings account.

When the Bank recovers the postage charges from that customer, to nullify the postal charges, is there any rule to collect gst from this recovery. Please clarify.

Banks must charge GST on all recoveries, including postal charges, because these are classified as part of the consideration for the banking services rendered to the customer.
