Gst on gta

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

I have 2 questions regarding GTA:

1) Can a GTA have single registration under GST with it's branches in different states?

2) If a GTA transports books , whether it is taxable? (As both the book consignor and consignee is exempted from GST registration)

Please guide.

1. No.... Required Registration in other States..
2. GST not applicable for GTA to GTA...
