would I be liable to collect GST at the time of dispatch of goods for exhibition purpose?
yes the gst will be applicable and for that you need register as an casual taxpayer in the state where you want sell your goods in exhibition and pay the gst according and file your returns.
If the goods are being send to exibition for display purposes & No selling is done in exibition , then the goods can be send on Delivery Challan.
