GST on fright

we are a manufacture and on the request of our client we have provided only transport service in other state to him now we have to prepare invoice, can u pls confirm which tax will apply n how much also inform SAC if u know..

whether the tansport has been outsourced or provided by company ?? Whether the supply of goods are of composite supply or mixed supply ???

1. Transport has been outsourced and transporter has raised bill on us without tax.
2. We have jst provided transportation only to carry their goods frm one place to another

Transport charges paid by u, hence you have to pay GST undet RCM. Regarding GST on transport charges, the rate is 5%. You will need to pay tax at 5% under RCM.

You are eligible for input credit on GST paid under RCM.

@ Praful Gohil.,

1. You are received service from a transporter. If he is GTA the you ll be pay Tax under RCM basis. If he is other than GTA then no need to pay GST. Bcoz, it's exempted under GST...

2. It's not cleared by your way...!
It's your own transport...??
