As there is no consideration for free sample it is not considered as supply as per section 7 and moreover it is not covered under schedule 1 so no gst is levied on free samples

Yes... I agreed to Mr Abhilash.,
But,
You can't avail the ITC benefits for the free samples.

U have to reverse the ITC on purchase of free sample given

NO ITC AS GOODS LOST, STOLEN, DESTROYED, WRITTEN OFF OR DISPOSED OF BY WAY OF GIFT OR FREE SAMLES
