if the factory and branch are both situated in same state then no gst is required to pay. if the factory and depot are situates in same state, then gst is required to pay. both cars way bill is mandatory as per limit.

And When factory and branch , factory and depot situated in interstate then GST is applicable or not? please explain.

Yes GST is apply when both are situated ,in different state , Registration in GST is provided statewise (Section 25 ) hence both are registered under different GSTN

When GST registration is same in within the same state and your branch added in your additional place of business in gst no Tax charged

May be is the answer because,

gst is not payable while making transfers from factory to depot intrastate.

gst is payable while making transfers from factory to depot interstate.
