You can simply file an application for cancellation on the gst portal...
File an application on the GST portal for cancellation of registration. Select the option as no longer liable for registration under GST.
If you really want to surrender your GSTIN then It would be better to contact a professional
go through services - click on application for cancellation - fill it properly - submit- take print out & submit one copy to gst office .
You can cancel it voluntary.
