GST Late fee

My business had aggregate turnover below 2 crore in 17-18. Gstr-9 filing is optional. but I intend to file GSTR-9. Will i have to pay late fee?

Yes, It is optional to file gstr-9. But you intend to file after the due date.you will pay the late fee of Rs 200 (cgst-100 & sgst-100) per day

But, The due date extension is based in statewide and 3 different dates. Better to check out the details...
