Dear Friends,

As per our Books ITC available 22,50,000, But In 2B it is showing 24,25000, Excess 175K available in 2B. But, at present we don't have a bills as per 2B. Hence, , the huge difference occurred.
Shall we claim excess available ITC as per 2B by next month? GST portal will allow us to claims next month?

Just check the details of invoices in GSTR-2B as invoices of earlier periods uploaded by supplier in current month is also available in 2B.
You have to check whether the supplier has filed Gstr-1 after the respective months due date.So that it is appearing in current months Gstr-2B.And you are not carry forward the ITC in current month's 2B to Next Month.
So, if we avail less than available ITC, then it is not possible to claim on next subsequent months?
ex: Available ITC as per 2B, 1 Lakh
Availed ITC as per our Books 75K
Balance 25K not claimed this month due to bills not received from suppliers and expected to receive bills on next month.
So, bal this 25K possible to take ITC by next month or not?
Yes...You can't carry forward to next month...

You can claim the unclaimed ITC in next month.

Still confused, someone is telling can be claimed next month, besides not able to claim next month.
however thanks a lot to everyone

You can claim it, so no need to worry.

The time limit for claiming ITC of a financial year is the earlier of: The due date for filing returns for September of the succeeding financial year. Date of filing the annual return for that financial year.

1st confirm whether the excess ITC belongs to any of your suppliers. Then proceed forward.

As per the act, you should claim the excess ITC in next month when you receive the bills from your supplier and you satisfy all other conditions mentioned in the ITC provisions.

But these days the dept is sending unnecessary notices for the difference in ITC claim or excess claim. So, if you want to save yourself from future notices then you can claim the ITC in the month in which it is reflected in 2B.

See GSTR 2B to be consider on YTD basis not month wise.

If excess ITC is available in particular month with respect to the bill suppose to be booked in next month, You can claim ITC next month irrespective of the GSTR 2B figure.

But your YTD ITC claimed should not be excess than ITC available in GSTR 2B.
