You should take registration
your business is a service ie.taking xerox
so you should collect tax @ 18%, on which you can credit your input tax credit ie. yax paid on paper, consumables and capital goods such as printer, plotter, copying machine etc
No composition available for you
OK...by some say as my material cost more than 50 percent I can take it...advice.....
In case turnover less than 20 lakhs no registration required
if more than 20 n less than 50 than what to do...all giving different opinions....as no clarity..soooooo confused
If more than 20 lakhs... u need to be compulsorily register yourself... u can claim credit on input tax paid on your paper stationery items other consumables stuffs
and capital goods like printer
why not composite scheme
composition scheme is not available for service tax assessee
OK..it is such small scale n unorganized sector...n we have significant material cost...it's not only service....so we sold get it
..it becomes simple
Your business is providing Xerox service, so no composite scheme for you
You should take registration at 19 lac and start collecting tax at 20 lacs
You can claim input tax on all your paper purchases and stationary expenses
Selling paper is not concerned with you, if you are doing that too you have apportion your input claim according to that ratio
