I am working in a NGO. We provide consultancy and charged 15% as service tax. We are registered under sociiety regitration Act. We have TAN and 12a.
Should we apply to get regiastration under GST? Kindly also infrom from July 2017 the rate of service tax we should charged.

All persons registered under Existing Law i.e Service tax, Central Excise, VAT , CST, etc. are required to get themselves migrated to GST regime. Today is the last date for migration.
Service Tax will be subsumed in GST and from 01.07.2017 GST would be applicable.
18% GST would be charged for consultancy services.

Yes today is the last date to migration into GST.......
But it may start again from 25 June 2017.....
