Please let me know the Late Fees for Composition Tax Payer (In Case of Trader i.e. Wholesaler & Retailer)

for CMP-08 Minimum and Maximum Late fees

for GSTR4 Minimum and Maximum Late fees

and Rate of Interest for delayed in filing of return from April 2019 and Onwards.

Maximum late fees will be restricted to the amount of tax under GST.

If taxpayers have failed to file their return before the given due date, the late fees are available INR 50/day, including INR 25/day CGST and INR 25/day SGST in case of any tax liability. Moreover, if the Nil liability, the late fees have been charged the INR 20/day, i.e., INR 10/day CGST and INR 10/day SGST in GSTT-4 and 200 per day including INR 100/day CGST and INR 100/day SGST in GST CMP-08.
