if my company named as ABC and i have to make gst bill, is bill no. can be mention as 001/18-19 with date or company name with number for example ABC001/18-19 with date is required on the bill. kindly guide.

yes , u can include alpha numeric digit not more then 15 digit

that means its not compulsory to mention firm name in full or short before bill no.
my firm name is shree saichem enterprises, i can mention only 001/18-19 with date is it correct
or i have to or it is must to mention shree saichem001/18-19 or sse001/18-19 with date.
there is no restrictions in numbering of invoice
