I want to know that if a person pay Rent with TDS. Will he be liable to pay GST on rent? or not?

NO FOR RESIDENTIAL UNITS
GST APPLICABLE OVER NON-RESIDENTIAL USAGE.
Sir So it means GST will not applicable when the TDS the will pay??
Rent of residential purpose used property for residential is exempted under GST
Or for the lease purpose???
